About the Role

Central Animal Hospital is looking to add a full-time, reliable receptionist to our team.  Prior veterinary reception experience is a plus! Veterinary receptionist duties include being the first point of contact for clients, handling client inquiries in person and over the phone, scheduling appointments, managing client accounts, and checking patients in and out. As our first point of contact, you will be delivering personalized and passionate client care to all patients and owners.

Exceptional communication skills and providing top-notch client service are just a few skills needed to be a successful veterinary receptionist.  Some of the critical skills that we are looking for with this particular opportunity include:

  • Being passionate about pet welfare and exceptionally kind
  • Excelling at client communication and embracing our purpose of providing excellent veterinary care and educating on responsible pet ownership
  • Possessing effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to take the initiative, multitask, and prioritize
  • Possessing the ability to maintain a calm disposition while working in a busy and dynamic client service environment
  • Being trustworthy, friendly, and a team player – but also able to work unsupervised when necessary

This is a full-time position for an experienced receptionist with availability for the following hours: 

  • Day shift 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, 4 days a week
  • Every other Saturdays 8AM -12PM
