Cara Ann Hammons, DVM

Originally from Louisville, KY, Dr. Cara Ann Hammons graduated from the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. From the age of 15, she has worked as a veterinary technician and volunteered at multiple Humane Societies. Since becoming a vet, she has been able to share her love and knowledge with countless pets.

Dr. Hammons and her husband, Jeremy, moved to Savannah in 2009 and fell in love with the city and its charms. She joined the team at Central Animal Hospital in June 2011 and has quickly become an integral member in the effort to serve our clients and their furry friends. In her spare time, Cara Ann loves to play guitar and bass, record music and spend time with Jeremy and their four cats: ViVi, Valorie, PJ, and Chase.
